On Monday, Feb. 6, The Fraternal Order of Eagles celebrates 114 years of People Helping People. The F.O.E. began as an agreement between six Seattle theater owners during a musicians' strike. The owners agreed to set aside their differences and form The Order of Good Things. As membership grew, the Bald Eagle was adopted as the Order's official emblem, serving as a catalyst for the Order's name change to The Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our first 114 years of excellence and we look forward to 114 more years of changing lives for the better.
Was a great success with a estimated food value of $230.00 was donated to our local food bank.
PLEASE NOTE
The food bank will only accept goods in original un-opened containers
We see people taking pictures but nobody sends them to us to use on our web site or newsletter.
It's very easy to do - just attach them to a email and send to Eagles Newsletter E-mail
with your name and event. In doing so you are helping us promote the Eagles by showing how much fun we have at these events and it may encourage new members to attend the next one .
